Heat Boilers
At home you need to heat water many times a day like for bathing, cooking and so on. To boil water you can use a number of equipments available in the market today. Water heaters and boilers are one among them. When you boil water it generates thermal energy which is used for many home heating systems.
Heat boilers that generated thermal energy are used more for domestic usage to boil water, but for industrial purpose we can use oil fired, gas fired or wood fired boilers. For wood fired boilers you need to supply wood to the boiler. It reduces electricity bill to almost nothing.
For industrial purposes mostly we use water tube boiler and fire tube boiler. Water tube boilers need hot water and for fire tube boiler hot gas is required. A boiler is a box in which water gets heated very rapidly. It is used mostly for the water tanks or swimming pools. A Boiler is full of cupper tubes where water is heated.
When one wants to install heat boilers one should always think of three important points and they are the heat and energy efficiency, noise level and cost. One more important thing is you need to find out what type of fuel is available in your area. If wood is easily available in area then you can certainly go for it.
Boilers can heat air as well. Hot water boilers are less complicated than steam boilers. Steam water boilers will need extra special gauge glass, an extra pressure gauge and automatic feeds. These boilers are very big. It uses radiator to heat the air which comes out in the room for making the room warm. After the steam gives heat, it drains back to there boiler and the same thing is reheated. It needs lots of energy to use steam heat boilers.
Steam boiler systems make use of radiators in order to heat air the air therby providing the required warmth. A steam-rated gas or oil boiler as the name says produces steam, which move with the help of insulated pipes towards the room radiators. As the steam gives out heat, it immediately turns into vapor and drains back to the boiler and again gets reheated. Because of all the extra requirements it makes lot of noise and is more expensive.
Water boilers are easy to use and they do not make any noise. They are very compact, they don't have much maintenance and are energy efficient. They heat water or air and distribute it thru pipes connected to it. These pipes should be properly insulated. Otherwise it will be difficult to pass the air or water and it can create accidents. Size of the boiler usually depends upon the usage of the boiler.
Heat boilers can be used for both, water heating as well as home heating. One unit only will work for both. You need to select the capacity of the heat boiler.
